Earth Wisdom Retreat by the Sea
August 14–16, 2026 | Yachats, Oregon
Sweet pause. Deep rest. Good food. Good company.
Reserve Your SpotThere comes a moment every year — just before the rush of fall returns — when the body quietly asks us to slow down.
To breathe more deeply. To reconnect with ourselves. To remember what truly nourishes us.
After a year that has asked so much of our nervous systems, this retreat is an invitation to pause before the busyness begins again.
To step away from constant stimulation, endless scrolling, overthinking, caretaking, and productivity… and return to something simpler, softer, steadier, and more human.
Nestled on the stunning Oregon coast during the golden days of late summer, Nourish & Flourish is a deeply restorative and intentionally intimate retreat designed to help you reconnect with nature, community, nourishment, and embodied presence.
This is not about escaping your life. It's about returning to it differently.
In Chinese Medicine, late summer is the season of the Earth element — the sacred pause between the fullness of summertime and the inward turning of autumn.
The Oregon Coast in August is late summer Earth energy made physical — golden light, abundance, the sea at its warmest and most generous.
The gift of the earth element is nourishment — the harvest, the shared table, the sweetness that is already present if we slow down enough to taste it. Its medicine is community. And its wisdom is this: you have worked hard enough. Now it is time for you to receive.
When out of balance, Earth energy can manifest as overthinking, worry, depletion, and emotional exhaustion — something many of us know intimately right now. This retreat is designed as medicine for exactly that.
A chance to ground deeply into nourishment so you can enter fall feeling clearer, calmer, steadier, and renewed.
"The gift of the Earth element is nourishment — the harvest, the shared table, the sweetness that is already present if we slow down enough to taste it."
Together we'll explore what it means to truly feel nourished — not only by food, but by nature, stillness, connection, gratitude, beauty, and belonging. The container is held by two deeply experienced guides in an intentionally small group. No major travel. Just real restoration, close to home.
Anne's sessions go far beyond the physical. Each practice is an invitation — into the body, into stillness, and into the deeper questions that arise when we finally slow down enough to hear them. Drawing on 20+ years of study in Taoism, Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and the non-dual wisdom traditions, Anne weaves nervous system restoration with insightful self-inquiry and spiritual depth. You won't just leave feeling more relaxed. You'll leave knowing yourself a little better.
There is something deeply restorative about cooking together. Guided by Iris — registered dietician, cookbook author, and organic farmer — this isn't a cooking class so much as a reclamation of the kitchen as a place of pleasure and healing. You'll work with seasonal whole foods, learn practical tips for nourishing yourself through the fall, and then sit down together to taste what you made. Recipes included.
An intentional guided walk through the stunning coastal forest utilizing nature itself as medicine — to calm the nervous system, quiet the mind, return to presence and reconnect to the deep intelligence and healing beauty of the natural world.
Ritual has a way of marking time as sacred. Thoughtfully held opening and closing gatherings anchor the retreat in purpose, invite self-reflection, and send you home carrying something meaningful in your heart.
The natural world is always sending messages. This candlelit evening circle — woven with found objects from nature, oracle tools, guided meditation, and journaling — is simply an invitation to slow down enough to receive them. As we intentionally make space for rest and renewal, our intuition sharpens and we re-awaken to life's magic.
Enjoy the bounty of late summer foods. Wholesome breakfasts, farm-to-table dinners, with snacks and drinks throughout. Plus free time to explore Yachats' wonderful local restaurants at your own pace for lunch. Additionally, we hope you will join us for an optional closing meal at Luna Sea Food Restaurant — a beloved Yachats gathering spot — where we can linger over the weekend together before heading home.
Two seasoned guides. A small, intentional group who came for the same reasons you did. This kind of genuine community forms when the space is held with experience, care, and wisdom and love — this too is part of the medicine.
Golden light. Ocean air. Spaciousness. The sea at its warmest and most generous. Receive the sacred gift of nature's abundance.
This is not a packed schedule of back-to-back workshops. The spaciousness is intentional.
There will be time to walk on the beach, to sit quietly with tea, nap, journal, watch the ocean, have real conversations, notice your own thoughts slowing down.
Because healing happens not only through practices — but through space.
Many participants may choose to enjoy a gentle "phone-free window" each day as an invitation to reconnect with direct experience and embodied presence.
